Israeli–Palestinian conflict, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Gave a Clear Message to President Trump

King Salman bin Abdulaziz has made it clear to President Trump that Saudi Arabia wants a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian problem. During the talks, Saudi King Rawa called on the United States to resolve the Palestinian issue through the Arab peace process.

According to the statement, Saudi King made it clear to the US President that the state wants a permanent and just solution to Palestine for which the Arabs consider the peace agreement as to the basis. The agreement was proposed by Saudi Arabia in 2002, which offered Israel to recognize a two-state solution and restore diplomatic relations if it relinquished land seized in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.

The two leaders also reviewed measures to prevent the corona epidemic this year under the auspices of the Saudi-led G20. Saudi King Rawa pledged to continue cooperating under the G20 group in resolving the humanitarian and economic problems caused by the epidemic.

It should be noted that after the peace agreement and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel last month, the eyes of the Arab and Muslim world are fixed on Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia initially declined to comment on the deal, but later issued a statement calling for a two-state solution, but ruled out relations with Israel.
